STONE, BRONZE, AND IRON

This workshop covers changes in Britain from the Stone Age to the Iron Age. Specifically, the workshop focuses on:

  • Late Neolithic hunter-gatherers and early farmers in Skara Brae.

  • Bronze age technology, travel and religion, including Stonehenge.

  • Iron Age hill forts, tribal kingdoms, farming art and culture.

Meet the scientists of prehistory, and look back over Britain through the Neolithic and Bronze Ages.

See what has changed in farming, housing, religion, technology, travel and art! Journey from Stone Age Skara Brae, through Bronze Age Stonehenge, to the new hill forts, tribal kingdoms and cultures of the Iron Age.

This hands-on interactive workshop engages students, getting them living and thinking like the people of prehistoric Britain.
